*Each time a target attacks or takes damage from the Night Terror, make an opposed roll vs. its Mental Magic Resistance. If successful, a stack of Fear is applied and the target gains a -2 penalty to Mental Resistance for 1 hour. The Mental Resistance penalty may stack up to 3 times. **Instead of applying Fear, a Night Terror may choose to consume all active stacks of Fear on its target. This reduces any outgoing damage to nonlethal, and magically heals the Night Terror for damage equal to the number of Fear stacks consumed. |
