Effect | With the careful application of Time magic, the channeler may gain divine insight into the history of any inanimate object, whether magical or non-magical. When used on magical items, Kronometry additionally functions as the Identify spell.
On a Casting roll, each success provides the caster with a piece of information about the item’s history at the Storyteller’s discretion. For example, Kronometry may reveal an item’s purpose, details regarding how it was crafted, the identity of a being who has interacted with it, etc; it may even reward the caster with the recollection of an event that the item was a part of. With five or more successes, the caster may ask the Storyteller for a specific piece of information about the item’s history. |
