Effect | Condenses natural heat near the caster to shape liquid fire into the form of a mundane weapon - the caster may choose from any standard weapon that they have previously wielded, including throwing weapons, bows, and crossbows. This weapon gains a +1 enhancement bonus and deals Fire damage. If a target is immune or resistant to Fire effects, they may negate or resist damage from this weapon. In every other way, the weapon is identical to a mundane weapon of the same type. It uses the same skills, damage dice, special attributes, and Fighting Styles. Bows and crossbows have the same reloading time as their mundane equivalents, however the caster may summon an arrow or crossbow bolt of fire as a free action to reload.
The Weapon of Flame puts off light twice a bright as a standard torch, and will dissipate 1 round after the caster ceases to wield it. Its enhancement bonus increases to +2 at rank 3, and +3 at rank 5. |
