Any flying creatures are affected as if by any other storm, and physical projectile attacks lose an additional attack die for every 2 yards of travel through the storm, in addition to any sight-based penalties. Breathing becomes difficult as air is consumed by the fire, and creatures which require air to breathe that are within the storm take an additional 1 non-lethal from the suffocation in the 2nd and subsequent rounds.
