Unarmed Combat represents the ability to fight and deal damage with bare hands/feet/elbows/claws/teeth. This skill is broken up into Striking, Grappling or Natural Weapons, and every purchase of this skill must apply to these subtypes, and each subtype ranks up separately. Regardless of which form of Unarmed Combat is selected, an attacker must have both hands empty when attacking (i.e., they may not carry a shield or wield a weapon in one hand while making an Unarmed attack). This is the case even when other limbs (e.g. feet) as the method of attack.
On unarmed combat attacks, your skill in the subtype is added to the applicable statistic and base damage to determine the dice pool.
