The shaman performs a ritual of blessing, during which they promise to do what is best for the area and those who reside there. In return for this promise of protection and support, the Shaman's bound Earth Spirit gains bonuses while manifested. The shaman may only be Attuned to one location at a time.


Bonus:
The process of becoming spiritually Attuned to a region may take anywhere from one to three months of residence there, however, places that are very spiritually active often take less time to attune to. Daily interaction with the Spirit Realm for at least ten minutes can significantly speed up this process, reducing the time it takes to properly attune to 6 - Rank days.

If a shaman gains the allegiance or friendship of a local spirit, she may instead choose to create a Pact with said spirit, promising support (whether this be in the form of protection or otherwise) in exchange for occasional assistance from the spirit in question. With an agreement struck, the shaman and local spirit perform a ten-minute ritual which helps the shaman immediately become Attuned to the region. The shaman may only maintain one such Pact within an Attuned region.
