The Handle Animal skill involves knowledge of creatures large and small, and how to interact with them in a safe way. It allows players to accomplish things like calm a startled mount, make friends with a stray cat, or avoid being attacked by certain wildlife. You can change the disposition of non-sentient creatures with a successful Handle Animal check. Usually, this requires a Full Round action to attempt, however this may change at the discretion of the Storyteller.

Disposition

Disposition is the overall feeling a creature has towards your character and how likely they are to flee or attack. A Hostile creature is far more likely to attack than a Neutral one.

Disposition Description Hostile Will take risks to hurt you.
Unfriendly Wishes you ill.
Neutral Indifferent to you.
Friendly Wishes you well.
Ally Will take risks to help you.
