Economic Classes

  • ```Worker```: The basic unskilled laborer, probably has a too large family to support, things are always too tight to save or deal with emergencies
  • ```Skilled```: The skilled worker, better wages, better able to support themselves, though doesn't necessarily live better in all aspects over the worker
  • ```Trade```: The tradesman, person of business, etc... much of their income is devoted to paying wages and operating expenses
  • ```Aristocratic```: The aristocrat that doesn't really have to do much, money becomes trivial too easily

Wages

  • Base Worker Wage: 6g/w, 18g/m, 216g/y
  • Skilled Wage: 9g/w, 27g/m, 324g/y
  • Trade
    • Income: 180g/w, 540g/m, 6480g/y
    • Wage Expense: 36/week
    • Shop Expense: 36g/week rental
    • Shop Overhead: 50g/week
    • Profit: 58g/week
    • Note shops are all run differently, this is assuming an average tradesman with an average shop doing average business in an average town, paying 2 skilled and 3 unskilled employees.
  • Aristocratic Income: 840g/w, 2520g/m, 30240g/y (40-100g/week in salaries, normally won't have a house cost due to inheritance

Home/Shop Costs

  • Worker Rental: 3g / week
  • Worker Accommodation Purchase: 600-700g (avg 648g)
  • Trade Shop Rental: 36g / week
  • Trade Shop Purchase: 15,000 - 25,000g (avg 19,440g)
    • Note: This average purchase price is viable in about 20 years if a shop owner saves just over half of his profit, living very well on the rest. Good years, bad year, less costs, more costs, more lavish living, more scrimping and saving ... will all impact the ability to reach these numbers dramatically
