| Effect |
The channeler creates a magical bond between himself and one ally, designating them as a Charge under his protection. The bond enables the channeler to take up to Rank damage in place of his ally each time the ally is attacked. Incoming damage is rolled against the original target’s defense, but the channeler may apply his own Damage Reduction to the transferred damage. If either channeler or charge move beyond the range of the spell, the bond is broken. Only one bond may be maintained at a time.
