Effect | The caster consumes 3 Soul Charges to conjure a deadly spectral flame. The spell deals Intelligence + Channeling + Death Domain lethal fire damage (Undead suffer +2d10 bonus damage) that ignores Rank Magical Defense and Rank Ward. If the target's Magic Defense is reduced to zero, they do not benefit from Magical Damage Reduction. In addition the target is engulfed in flames that may not be extinguished by mundane effects. Even complete submersion in water will not stop the burning, however a successful Dispel Magic will halt the damage. The target suffers 3 flat points of lethal damage each round after Soulfire is cast. Each target may only be affected by Soulfire once per encounter. |
