Description

Fire Shaman are a bit unpredictable, as fire elementals are untrustworthy, dangerous and fickle. The shaman who bind them tend to have something of that nature as well. While they have a reputation for pyromancy and mecurial tempers many Fire Shaman believe that fire is simply a part of the world and often even good for natural environments. They are fierce fighters, and unwilling to be bullied.

Rank 1

Imbue Bonus OR Manifest
At will the Imbued item glows brightly shedding light as a torch. 1/day as a free action the imbued item can gain the Flame effect for 1 round. Small Fire Spirit

Spells

Spell Description
Firebug A handful of glittering embers that Ignite burning targets.
Fire Sight Caster can see through fire, smoke without penalty.
Guided Smoke Caster can control smoke preventing it from being blown away, or forming lines of sight.

Rank 2

Imbue Bonus OR Manifest
Imbued item gains a +1 Enhancement bonus. This bonus improves to +2 at Rank 3, and +3 at Rank 5. Medium Fire Spirit

Spells

Spell Description
Fire Hawk The shaman conjures an elemental hawk from the flames sending it soaring at a target where it Ignites on impact dealing magical fire damage. Long range R2 fire nuke that deals magical damage and Ignites flames. Requires a natural fire to cast.
Elemental Skin Caster gains fire resistance and the ability to start natural fires.
Thick Smoke Mundane fires started by the caster generate a thick black smoke increasing concealment and causing skill penalties. The caster is immune to penalties from their own Thick Smoke.

Imbued item gains the Flame effect.
  • Imbued Armor: If an attacker lands a successful melee attack, even if the damage is negated by Ward, the attacker gains a Flaming effect.
  • Imbued Weapon: If the wielder lands a successful melee attack, even if the damage is negated by Ward, the target gains a Flaming effect.

The next physical attack against a target with the Flaming effect gains the Fire descriptor.

Imbue Bonus OR Manifest
Imbued item gains the Flame Burst effect.
  • Imbued Armor: If an attacker lands a successful melee attack, even if the damage is negated by Ward, a burst of flame applies the Flaming effect to all targets within a 2 yard radius of the wearer. This effect may only occur once per round.
  • Imbued Weapon: If the wielder lands a successful melee attack, even if the damage is negated by Ward, a burst of flame applies the Flaming effect to all targets within a 2 yard radius of the target. This effect may only occur once per round.

The next physical attack against a target with the Flaming effect gains the Fire descriptor.
Easily ignited combustibles may catch fire from the Flame Burst.

When triggered, the Flame burst deals Rank damage in addition to the Flame effect. This damage is affected by magic defense, but may not be reduced below 1 die. This burst does not hit the primary target. This effect may only occur once per round. Greater Fire Spirit
