Language

• Requires: Intelligence 3 if purchased with CC points or GXP. No requirements if obtained through Improved Background.
• Rank 1, 1 CC point or 3 GXP
• Rank 2, 1 more CC point or 6 more GXP

Taking this benefit allows the character to understand a new language. A specific language must be specified when Rank 1 is acquired, and may not be changed. Rank 1 in a selected language allows the character to read and speak the language slowly and with rough accuracy. Rank 2 allows the character to converse fluently and think in that language.

This benefit may be taken more than once, each purchase requiring a different language to be selected.
