Magecraft Skill

Magecraft represents training in the arcane arts, learning how to manipulate and control the Ley of the universe. It governs the skill with which those that follow the Path of Magecraft form their spells.

Additionally, when a Mage is able to see the Ley lines and patterns, they are able to better understand what that Ley is forming, manifesting, or controlling. This does not grant either Magic Sight to see the Ley, or the more universal understanding of Magic Knowledge, but instead the understanding of what Ley they are observing and what that Ley means. This understanding is comparable to being fluent in a language rather than Magic Knowledge which is knowing that the language exists and what can be written with it.
