Domain Power: Treat shadows (of your size or greater) as full concealment for the purposes of entering stealth. This allows a Shadow acolyte using this power to enter stealth while observed by blending into the shadows. As long as the caster ends their turn in shadows they retain stealth even if they move through areas without concealment. At Rank 3 when concealed with this effect the acolyte gains protection from spells which would detect stealthed targets.

Rank Power Description
1 Darkvision See in the dark as though the environment is well-lit.
2 Cloak of Shadows Gather shadows and move in complete concealment once per encounter.
3 Silent Shadows Create an area of perfect silence around the channeler.
4 Deeper Darkness Blanket an area in darkness, blinding targets within except the caster.
5 Shadow Form Become a living shadow.
Shadow Assassin
Rank Power Description
1 Shadow Tattoos Conceal Small/Tiny weapons as magical tattoos.
2 Shadow Constructs Caster creates one simple construct from shadows (up to 1 yard square in size x Rank). Shadow constructs are jet black and virtually weightless. Constructs that bear weight may only hold half as much weight as the mundane equivalent. Only Rank simple constructs may be summoned at a time. The caster must have enough shadows available to create an object of the desired size, and must be in physical contact with the construct as he/she creates it. The construct may flow or change direction under the caster’s control until it solidifies.
3 Shadow Daggers The spell may be used in two ways:
  • Caster creates a shadowy dagger with +2 enhancement bonus for one hour. This bonus increases to +3 at Rank 5.
  • Caster creates razor sharp fragments of shadow which are flung towards a ranged target at high speed. The attack roll uses Intelligence + Channelling + Rank. These attacks may benefit from the Fighting Style: Thrown Weapons as if the caster were throwing the weapon physically. The attack has +2 Armor Piercing, +2 Ignore Dodge. At Rank 5 this increases to +3 Armor Piercing, +2 Ignore Dodge.
4 Shadow Guise Alter appearance to match witnessed target, or leave it behind as a decoy when shifting to invisibility via the domain power
5 Shadow Step Step from shadow to shadow, taking the place of a movement action. Attacks against one target adjacent to your arrival location gain +Rank Dodge Reduction, and may reduce them to flatfooted
Living Shadow

1 Send Shadow The caster detaches his shadow allowing him to see from its position in black and white and hear sounds as if present. The shadow can move up to 20 yards x Rank away from the caster. The shadow may use the caster’s stealth roll and treats mundane shadows as concealment. The shadow is immediately destroyed by effects with the Light descriptor. While controlling the shadow, the caster is subject to the effects of any mind affecting spells cast at the shadow such as illusions or compulsions, and is aware of his own body but may not see his environment without reliquishing control.
2 Tangible Shadow The conjured shadow gains physical substance allowing the caster to interact with the environment including lifting light objects, picking locks, or attacking. Skill rolls are performed with the caster’s statistics and skills (although no enhancement or equipment modifiers). Despite having physical structure, the shadow remains able to move through two dimensional spaces, sliding between small cracks and under doors. In addition to controlling the shadow directly the caster may instead give it basic orders and instructions such as “defend me”, “wait here”, or “attack that target”. The shadow is immune to mind-affecting spells, however as with Conjure Shadow when directly controlling the shadow, the caster is vulnerable. Effects with the Light descriptor will cause Mortal damage to the shadow if they normally cause damage, and Rank lethal damage otherwise. The shadow has the following stats:
