| Effect | This spell allows the caster to sense the relative direction, distance, and movement path of natural magical energies within the area of the spell, including areas of relatively low or high magical density such as Ley Lines and Nexuses.
At Rank 3, the caster can distinguish between types of individual Ley Lines within 1 mile. Nexuses are considerably more overwhelming and difficult to comprehend. To distinguish between individual Ley in a Nexus, the Casting Roll must meet or exceed the number of ley that are incorporated into that Nexus. This spell is a requirement for navigating Magecraft-powered airships and, while active, provides a +Rank proficiency bonus to Skyfaring/Aeronautics skill checks. |
