- Ranks 1-2, 1 CC point per Rank or 3 GXP x Rank
Effects

| 1 | Combat Trained | Mounting and Dismounting now require a Fast Action instead of a Move Action.
When on a Trained mount, you only need to a single successful Ride Skill check to guide your mount's actions for an encounter instead of for each action attempted. If circumstances would require an additional Ride check (such as trying to control your mount after taking damage), you gain a +1 Proficiency bonus to the attempt. This increases to +2 at Rank 3, and +3 at Rank 5. |
| 2 | Mounted Maneuvers | When on a Trained mount, you may direct your mount's actions as a Fast Action instead of a Move Action. Additionally, the rider's maneuvers and abilities which would otherwise require a Full Round action may be performed while the mount uses its full range of Movement. |
