Potions and poultices are consumable items that have a variety of generally positive healing effects. The main difference between the two is that Potions must be drunk, whereas poultices may be applied topically as ointments. Some poultices may also be safely consumed.

Magical Potions and Poultices

These items are magical drafts or ointments that come in small vials. When consumed or otherwise utilized, their effects are immediately noticeable and inherently magical in nature. They highly prized throughout the world and are most often found available for purchase at apothecary shops that deal in magical goods or, specifically in the case of magical healing potions, available for purchase through religious Temples or Magic consortiums.

Standard Healing Potion A potion that provides 10d10 magical healing when consumed. 80g
Superior Healing Potion An uncommon potion that provides 12d10 magical healing when consumed. 100g
Exquisite Healing Potion Extremely rare, this potion is able to provides 14d10 magical healing when consumed. 300g
Cleanse Potion Provides a 10d10 Cleanse effect vs. the Rank of one (1) Disease or Poison affecting the consumer. If the number of successes exceeds the Rank of the targeted effect, it is cleansed. 60g
Superior Cleanse Potion Provides a 12d10 Cleanse effect vs. the Rank of one (1) Disease or Poison affecting the consumer. If the number of successes exceeds the Rank of the targeted effect, it is cleansed. 120g

Nonmagical Potions and Poultices

These helpful consumable items are not inherently magical in nature, and may be crafted with appropriate supplies and sufficient skill. They are much more readily available than magical healing options, especially in rural areas.

Herbal Healing Potion Immediately gain 1 lethal healing; a target may only gain healing from these potions once per day. 20g
