Required | Life Sphere 2 |
Range | Touch |
Target Area | 1 cubic yard |

Casting | Verbal, Somatic |
Cast Action | Standard |
Cost | 1 Mana |
Effect | Casting this spell allows the mage to create up to 1 cubic yard of any type of plant they have analyzed with the Plant Lore spell, including plants with special characteristics (such as poison, deadly thorns that cause Bleeding, healing enhancement, other medicinal properties, etc.). As long as the mage’s Life Sphere Rank is equal to or greater than the Rank of the plant’s effect(s), they can recreate the plant effectively. Attempts to create a Magic Flower with a quality beyond the mage’s Rank will result in a visually accurate, if ineffective, replica.
At Rank 3, the mage may cast Magic Flower to augment an existing plant, either adding an additional unique characteristic drawn from known Plant Lore or providing a +Rank bonus to the plant’s natural characteristics with Storyteller approval. Example: Pidge, a Rank 4 Life Mage, has an extensive knowledge of Plant Lore. She casts Magic Flower to create a Rank 3 carnivorous vine plant that attempts to grapple anything foolish enough to come within reach. However, due to her extensive knowledge and skill, she is able to augment this plant to secrete the same resin as poison ivy on contact, causing targets it grappled to take a penalty to skill checks while they try to free themselves from the plant's grasp. |
