Effect	While transformed your figure alters allowing you to look different, altering your body type, or changing gender. Deception Skill rolls to avoid being recognized are considered critical successes. You may attempt to take the form of a specific humanoid within the same size category of your normal size, however this requires an opposed roll vs. the Perception Skill of anybody who actually knows the form you are attempting to duplicate. Even if you successfully disguise yourself, you will still need to make a Deception roll if you are required to interact with the target, however you gain a +Rank bonus to that roll. Alter Form changes the actual physical structure of the caster from the inside out, leaving no obvious magical aura for spells like Mage Sight. Only powerful detection spells such as True Sight will reveal a transformed caster as affected by this spell.
