Effect The caster becomes wreathed in crackling entropic energy as stolen souls swirl around them. While Soul Harvest is active, any failed attempts to slay (e.g., Death's Grasp, Slay Living, Death Knell) instead of causing 1 Lethal damage cause 1 Lethal damage for 5 rounds. Whenever a sentient living creature is slain by one of the caster’s Seed: Slay spells (including if they die from the damage-over-time caused by Soul Harvest), the caster gains one Soul Charge, up to a maximum of three. The caster may expend a Soul Charge as a Free Action to either:
  • Gain +2d10 to a Slay spell cast this turn, OR
  • Recover 2 Mana.

Only one Soul Charge may be spent used to boost a cast roll each turn. Any unspent Soul Charges are lost after 24-hours.
