Effect | All targets (including friendly targets) within the affected area must make a Resist roll vs. Magic roll or be subject to an aura of bad luck centered around the caster for 1 hour. Any action requiring a roll, if there are no successes, will automatically be considered a critical failure without an additional Critical Failure roll to check. If the target successfully resists, it may not be affected by the aura for 1 hour regardless of how many times they leave or re-enter it. The caster's aura is permanent and may not be intentionally deactivated once acquired, but the caster may expend 1 Positive Karma to exclude Rank targets from being affected by the aura for 1 hour. |
