- Dexterity 3, Craft: Poison
- Rank 1-5, 1 CC point per Rank or 3 GXP x Rank
Note: The maximum allowed rank in this Fighting Style is equal to the Craft: Poison rank of that character. If ranks are equal, Craft: Poison must be increased before this fighting style may be increased further.
Effects
Rank 1 | Basic Poisoner | As a Move action, apply a poison to a weapon with a successful Dexterity + Craft: Poisons roll. The Rank of the poison may not exceed the character’s current Rank in Fighting Style: Poisoner. Failing this roll wastes the dose of poison, while a critical failure poisons the player. |
Rank 2 | Skilled Poisoner | Gain a +1 Potency bonus to either Injury OR Ingested poisons, which must be determined when this Rank is purchased. The Potency bonus increases to +2 at Rank 3, and +3 at Rank 5. |
Rank 3 | Clever Poisoner | Due to the poisoner’s work, she can recognize the effects, smells, or appearance of poisons with a successful Craft: Poison roll. This reveals the type, potency, and effects of the poison, as well as knowledge of any available antidotes or antivenins. Craft: Poison skill checks to create antidotes gain a +Rank bonus to their roll. |
Rank 4 | Deft Poisoner | After a successful Sleight of Hand roll, the poisoner may apply an Injury poison to a weapon as a Fast Action. When administering Ingested poisons, gain a +4 bonus to the Sleight of Hand roll to avoid being noticed. |
Rank 5 | Master Poisoner | Craft: Poison checks require one less success. The poison type selected at Rank 2 additionally gains +1 Duration. |
