Effect | When cast on land prepared by Bless Earth the area becomes inimical to enemies, making movement difficult, ensnaring foes, and damaging them. This may include sharp jagged rocks, quicksand, dense vegetation, and other hazards which act to impede enemies. Enemies in the area who fail a Physical Resistance roll treat every square as Difficult Terrain, and moving causes 1 dice of Non-Lethal damage per square moved as sharp rocks, plants, and debris lacerate them. Armor may mitigate this damage, so perform the Move Action, count the squares moved, add the dice, and subtract any armor bonuses before rolling. The terrain seems sentient, protecting allies of the caster from these effects. |
