The caster presses Lawgiver against a target’s skin searing them with a brand announcing their crimes. This melee magical attack deals Intelligence + Channeling + Order Domain lethal magical damage against the target and inflicts Burning. While the target is burning they also suffer a -2 penalty to all skill rolls from the intense pain. The brand itself remains after the burning subsides, permanently burned into the flesh of the target. Removing the brand requires magical healing that can repair maiming such as Regenerate. Mark of Punishment ignores the Magical Defense of Demons when rolling damage.
