Stygian Outsider
Stygian Outsiders are undead beings native to Stygia. They are divided into two primary categories: the Liches, corporeal beings of flesh and bone; and Wraiths, incorporeal beings formed of pure necrotic energy. The greatest of these beings are the Deadlords, powerful necromantic Ascendants who rule huge swathes of Stygia. Like Pandemonium, large areas of Stygia are ruled by these dangerous entities, however, Stygia is a larger plane and has huge swathes of broken wilderness. In the dark wilds of the realm, many forms of sentient undead lurk.

Mournsnare
A type of wraith known for its soul-shattering wail. Their melody can ensnare even the hardest of hearts - bringing their targets’ emotions so low that they might consider death as their only respite from the pain.
Hexbrood
A small, skittering lich that appears to be between a centipede and a snake, this creature's many legs propel it forward as its mandibles click and clack against one another in its eagerness for flesh.
Rank 3
Chain Wraith
A wraith that wields tendrils of necrotic energy in chainlike whips that can grasp their prey and hold it in place.
Emberwraith
A glowing with cold inner fire, emberwraiths are rightfully feared by many undead. As one of the few Stygian creatures with an affinity for fire, their control over it tends to be rather unwieldy and they have been known to set themselves aflame for entertainment.
Rank 4
Hallowsbane
Hallowsbane are liches are often drawn to areas such as Hallows that host large congregations of souls they can consume. They have a particular Aura of Undeath that anchors spirits to the world around them, preventing manifested ghosts and other spirits from fleeing to the spirit world to escape their grasping jaws.
Rank 5
Hexbrood Colossus
An enormous lich resembling a snake or centipede, if such creatures were covered in articulated plate made entirely of bones. It looks as though it has too many legs, or perhaps none at all. Multiple glowing eyes and a flat face are framed by too many jaws and more teeth than can be counted.
