The Pale Sisters
The militant nuns known as The Pale Sisters or "Nim Quathel" in high elvish, are a female group of devotees to Su-Lan. The nuns are kind of like her hand picked army in the mortal realm They train in battle, heavy armor, and live ascetic lives dedicated to the goddess. The order was founded during the second God War, as widows and solitary women joined to battle undead and mortals who would prey on the vulnerable, but not engaging directly on either side. Over the millennia they spread chapters across the world, but most notably Suriloth in Trevas and Avemroth in Vicisi. They became known as the Pale Sisters because of their light grey surcoats most often worn over plate armor. Their most recognizable weapon is a long polearm with a curved scythe blade. They are arguably the most devout followers of Su-Lan and live quiet religious lives in abbey's with their sisters, training and praying and are known to help guide the passing to the embrace of the goddess. In Avemroth they have their own section of the larger Su-Lan temple known as The Mausoleum where they are part of the group that defends the mass graveyard.
