Fear Domain
Domain Power: Dread Presence
You are a living conduit of your Patron’s dread. Enemies entering or beginning their turn within your presence (Rank + 5 yards radius) must make a Mental Resistance roll opposed by your Intelligence + Channeling Skill + Domain Rank.
- On failure, the target gains one level of Fear.
- If the target fails by 3 or more successes, the Fear level is raised by 2.
- Success grants immunity to your aura for 1 hour.
Constructs and creatures incapable of feeling fear are unaffected. Dread Presence does not require activation or mana to maintain. You may consciously exclude chosen targets from this effect, but the aura itself cannot be deactivated or suppressed. Dread Presence and other persistent fear effects such as Fear Aura do not stack. The more powerful effect takes precedence.
